Deep red. Black ripe fruits, concentrated, leather hue, chocolate and graphite, all in perfect balance. Dense and warm, firm tannins with a sweet after taste and a long resistance of chocolate and dry fruit.

Wine Spectator: Issue: Nov 30, 2007. A polished, elegant style, with red currant, floral and mineral notes backed by a lingering hint of red licorice on the finish. Supple and lengthy.  

Stephen Tanzer: Mar/Apr 08. By Josh Raynolds. Ruby-red. Youthful, sharply focused red and dark berry aromas, with a complex array of earth, herb and spice qualities adding interest. Initially taut but quickly unfolds to offer sweet strawberry and cherry flavors, with a gentle minerality carrying through the finish. I like the energy and sappiness of this elegant midweight.
