On the nose you can feel the sun and the earth where the grape of this wine is grown. It’s so rounded and intense on the palate that it transports the mind.  Beautiful on it’s own, or goes perfect with duck with plum sauce and in addition is a pleasure with game. Falernia is from a valley known as "Magic," named so due to the beauty of the stars and the moon in the crystal clear night sky.  This wine will place you in the mood for love and put your mind at ease, ideal for those special moments… perfecto! 

Extra notes 

100% from dried grapes. That herbal edge carries on the palate, with a certain leathery note but also a fine, very cool linearity with delicious chocolaty notes and a touch of sweetness and lift. Becomes chocolaty and lip-smacking, with great richness abut freshness too.

The grapes of this wine are from the “Rio” vineyard located in the Vicuña area and were hand picked very late at the beginning of June; two additional months on the vines to gain more concentration. The grapes were partially dried. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks with pistons to facilitate extraction of soft tannins, and to produce the colour and aromas of over-ripe fruits. Aging took place in barrels of French oak for six to eight months.  Tololo, one of the most important telescopes in the world, is located in the area.  Vicuna, the small town of the valley, is the birthplace of the great Chilean female poet Gabriela Mistral.
