This Sauvigon Blanc provides the palate with a flavour of well-balanced passion fruit and pineapples with honey finish. Wonderful, a compliment with shellfish, lobster, crab, scallops. Extra notes Brilliant yellow colour. Nose is intense, reminiscent of figs, elderflowers and sage. A good character wine with citrus and melon notes, acidic with a long crisp finish on the palate. A very opulent wine. Falernia winery is located in the Elqui Valley near the small town of La Serena, 300 miles north of Santiago and it is at the present , Chile's northermost wine estate. The climate is semiarid with a dramatic contrast between day and night time temperature during the ripening season.
