The first lovely aromas to appear are deep notes of bitter chocolate and attractive cedar with mint followed by black fruit and species of rosemary and laurel. In the palate this wine is firm and well balanced, with fresh and sweet notes at the end. Haras de Pirque Equus Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 is a long lasting wine with plenty of seductive complexity.
