Deep in colour, dark chocolate and vanilla character on the nose. Rich and ripe on the palate. Full bodied, rich, with ripe and complex tannins on the palate. Barrels are used to mature and produce the complex character of this wine. Best at 19°C.

Falernia winery is located in the Elqui Valley near the small town of La Serena, 300 miles north of Santiago and it is at the present , Chile's northermost wine estate. The climate is semiarid with a dramatic contrast between day and night time temperature during the ripening season.
